Tandem Stills + Motion Releases Midway: Edge of Tomorrow

Midway: Edge of Tomorrow, a poignant, beautiful, and deeply moving film about the Battle of Midway and current conservation efforts on Midway Atoll in the Pacific Ocean, will be released through iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon Prime on November 22, 2017 and through Vudu on January 2, 2018. Midway: Edge of Tomorrow documents never-before-seen natural wonders of Midway, located in the recently-expanded Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument, and provides a captivating look at the last remaining historic structures from the Battle of Midway, which marked its 75th anniversary this year. This holiday season, spend time with friends and family to learn about the history of our country and this important conservation beacon.

Fresh lava flows forming new islands of the Pacific. 

Tandem Stills + Motion and Giant Screen Films (GSF) are pleased to announce that principal photography for Hidden Pacific has wrapped following the final shooting assignment: capturing dramatic volcano footage in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Upon release, Hidden Pacific will transport audiences to the Pacific Ocean's remote national wildlife refuge islands and marine national monuments, revealing the beauty of the ocean and these emerald islets; the conservation efforts to restore and protect their ecosystems; and the diversity of life on both land and reef.

Tandem Stills + Motion Partners with Giant Screen Films to Release Film on Pacific Ocean’s MARINE National Monuments and Wildlife Refuges

Tandem Stills + Motion (TSM) and Giant Screen Films (GSF) are pleased to announce a pioneering new film that will bring the Pacific Ocean’s protected and remote national wildlife refuge islands and marine national monuments to giant screen and IMAX® cinemas around the world. Hidden Pacific (working title) captures the beauty of the ocean and these emerald islets, the conservation efforts to restore their ecosystems, and the diversity of life on both land and reef. The film will take audiences to these faraway, picturesque “Pearls of the Pacific” in ultra high resolution immersive giant screen and dome formats.

Tandem Stills + Motion has wrapped production on a forthcoming film about Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge and Battle of Midway National Memorial located in the Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument in the Pacific Ocean. The film documents never-before-seen natural wonders in addition to providing a captivating look at the last remaining historic structures from the Battle of Midway, which will mark its 75th anniversary in 2017.
